Big FM’s 10th Year Anniversary Ball

BIG FM IS 10 YEARS OLD!

On the 30th September 2022 Big FM celebrated their 10th anniversary with a fantastic ball raising money for the Elche Childrens Care Home. Guests arrived on the red carpet from 6pm and were greeted by Richie and Rachael Sparks who directed them to Mike Ryan the photographer to have their picture taken.

From there they went on to the garden for cava and to mingle, at 7pm they were invited in to the main hall to take their seats. with wine on the table and beer on tap provided by triple brew and right move insurance they were served 3 seperate starters, a delicious salad, a tasty pastry with goats cheese and crispy fried vegetables in a truffle sauce.

At 8pm Caz Matthews and Lydia Kay kicked off proceedings and introduced the fabulous Jim McMail on the main stage and the guests were also entertained at their tables by the fabulous Grahaem Mykal who’s progress could be traced by the gasps of surprise and applause.

A short break between courses allowed people to browse the silent auction,get raffle tickets and have a quick dance before the main course of slow cooked beef & pork with a truffle mash and rich gravy.

 After the main course Richie gave a speech thanking all the sponsors and attendees  and also invited Michelle from the ECCH to come up and give some details about the charity, Richie and Rachael then cut the enormous celebration cake using a ceremonial sword. 

Then dessert was served comprising a Hot chocolate coulant with vanilla ice cream and finally coffee. 

The next part of the evening was a 2 hour set from Chocolate Son , a 6 piece cuban band giving guests the chance to dance off some calories. 

The evening raised over 1000 Euros with money still coming in.
