Guardamar del Segura

“Guardamar del Segura and its restaurants return with the 18th Gastronomic Week of the “Nyora i el Llagostí”, with its two emblematic local products: the ñora (sweet dried red pepper) and the shrimp from Guardamar.

This gastronomic week has become a highly prestigious point of reference in the Valencian, Spanish and European cuisine. There are many faithful who do not miss this annual event that takes place in the first fortnight of June.

We hope to see you in Guardamar from the 6th to the 12th of June 2022 in six of our most prestigious restaurants, with their lunch and dinner menus and that must include ñora and shrimp within a traditional, Mediterranean and  innovative cuisine. These restaurants are:

Studio Thirty Two presents Guys and Dolls at the Cardenal Belluga Theatre in San Fulgencio on the 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st of May.

Today International Museums Day, we join the promotion and dissemination of our Museums and invite you to visit them and participate in the events prepared for it.
From today 18 to 21 May, the Museums will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Free admission
You can visit:
– Archaeological and Paleontological Museum
– Museum of the Garden
– Windmill
– Aljibes of Gasparito
– Rodeo Caves
Today and tomorrow there will be Workshops for children aged 6 to 8 “Little Archaeologists”, at the Archaeological Museum. At 19h
On Friday 20th of May, another Prehistoric Children’s Workshop will be held in the Concert Replaceta.
Don’t miss this one.
Friday 20th May, visit the Eco Museum of the Underground Habitat of the Rodeo Caves.
Leaving from the Ezekiel Cafeteria door, accompanied by Maria Jesus Trives, to do the tour.
At 9pm, there will be a NELLO CHIUMINATTO Concert.
Discover live the ancient sound of instruments from 5 continents.
Saturday May 21, we will have the las TRAINET service from 9 in the morning, with the tour of: exit Queen Sofia Bridge, Windmill, Gasparito Aljibes and Garden Museum.
Each one of these sites will be theatrical by students of the Municipal Theater School, under the direction of Quique Gavidia.
To finish the days dedicated to the Museums, great concert by the Philharmonic Orchestra City of Orihuela, at 9pm, at the Municipal Theater Capitol of Rojales. Free admission.
